We’re looking for an experienced leader to take on the role of Manager, Utilization . In this position, you’ll oversee the safe and reliable operations of Gas Distribution System (GDS) assets downstream of the meter shut-off valve (Meter Set), ensuring full compliance with all customer asset regulations. Your work will directly support our mission to deliver energy safely, reliably, and with a customer-first mindset.

What You’ll Do

- Execute the Utilization Department strategy, delivering the full utilization portfolio across Ontario.

- Ensure all operations meet or exceed regulatory requirements, and applicable standards.

- Develop strategic objectives and advance Utilization initiatives, optimizing processes, procedures, and programs with cross-functional impacts.

- Collaborate with internal teams and second-party contractors to deliver utilization activities effectively, efficiently, and safely.

- Partner with Labour Relations to develop and implement a proactive union relations strategy, fostering productive relationships and resolving issues in a timely manner.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with Utilization Extended Alliance contractors, ensuring compliance with Enbridge’s Quality Management Systems (QMS), safety standards, and Operator Qualifications (OQ).

- Maintain proactive engagement with internal teams, external stakeholders, and key operational partners.

- Manage operating and capital budgets with financial discipline, ensuring cost control and alignment with corporate priorities.

- Promote an exceptional customer experience by ensuring work execution reflects reliability, safety, and trust in the Enbridge brand.

Who You Are

- University degree and 8+ years of relevant experience OR 10+ years of field operations experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience.

- Strong technical expertise in distribution pipeline field operations (or equivalent experience).

- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

- Proven crisis management and sound decision-making abilities.

- Demonstrated leadership in operational environments.

Assets:

- Experience managing capital budgets.

- Demonstrated labour relations expertise.

- Proven ability to build strong teams and engage frontline employees.

Working Conditions

- Combination of field and office work.

- Occasional travel required.

- Participation in an on-call rotation.
