SUPERVISION RECEIVED:
Reports directly to the VP, T&D Engineering & Operations.
SUPERVISED PERSONNEL:
Supervises T&D asset management, inventory, and GIS staff as assigned.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
•Develops, implements, and maintains the T&D Asset Management Plan and program.
•Analyzes current asset management policies and processes and recommends improvements.
•Provides guidance and support to implement asset management strategies across various business areas based on cost, risk, and reliability.
•Assists stakeholders in development of effective condition-based assessment programs and related processes.
•Develops and tracks key performance indicators associated with business area work order processes to measure performance.
•Determines control strategies and performs root cause failure analysis to reduce risk and improve asset utilization.
•Identifies and adopts applicable asset management best practices using resources available from NATF, EPRI, CEATI, ISO 55001, etc.
•Assists with the development of long and short range plans, capital and O&M budgets.
•Oversees and maintains T&D asset records and inventory using GRDA’s computerized maintenance management system (CMMS), Maximo, and ERP system, D365.
•Manages, develops and supervises asset management, inventory and GIS team members.
•Recommends the hiring, termination, promotion, or disciplining of T&D asset management, inventory, and GIS team members.
•After-hours work is expected when necessary to meet critical deadlines, during emergencies or storm events.
EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
•Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Technology Discipline from an accredited college or university. Additional courses in asset management or practical experience in T&D maintenance are desirable.
•The preferred applicant will have a minimum of five (5) years’ relevant experience.
•Experience in supervising staff and providing leadership.
SPECIAL CERTIFICATES, REGISTRATIONS, LICENSES REQUIRED:
•Must have a valid Oklahoma driver's license.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, & ABILITIES REQUIRED:
•Knowledge of asset management principles, electric utility equipment, performance analysis, and reliability-centered maintenance practices and standards.
•Functional competency with personal computers; prefer experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, Power BI, and Powerpoint).
•Knowledge of principles, practices, and technologies of computer based mapping and geographic related data systems; ESRI ArcMap experience is a plus.
•Knowledge of CMMS systems; prefer IBM Maximo experience.
•Must be capable of methodical analysis of complex problems.
•Must possess and demonstrate excellent writing and composition skills.
•Must be comfortable giving verbal presentations before groups.
•Must have excellent interpersonal, communication, and supervisory skills.
•Must plan, coordinate, and conduct meetings efficiently and effectively.
PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
•Must be able to walk, climb stairs
•Ability to lift, move, and carry weights of up to 30 lb. on an irregular basis.
•Must possess mental, visual, and auditory acuity for attention to visual and auditory detail.
•Tasks may involve extended periods of time at a keyboard or workstation.
ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS & SAFETY CONCERNS:
•Work is usually performed in an office environment with outdoor excursions to remote sites when necessary.
•Emergency repair work may be required during inclement weather and at any time in any season.
JOB LOCATION:
•Work is performed primarily at the Transmission Headquarters near Pryor, Oklahoma. Specific work site and substation locations exist throughout the northeastern quarter of Oklahoma and/or other locations.
