Summary
This role is responsible for leading the strategy development efforts and supporting the integrated scoping of programs related to system resiliency and the Oncor Wildfire Mitigation Plan. This role also manages the implementation of initiatives in these programs by defining scope and priority, establishing Key Performance Indicators, tracking performance and reporting progress. Additionally, this role is responsible for asset management related data support which includes reliability reporting, asset tracking and associated analytics. This includes the oversight of all designated Program Mangers and their respective programs, including coordinating regulatory filings associated with resiliency and reliability programs.
Key Roles & Responsibilities For All
•Oversee the resiliency programs and wildfire mitigation Program Managers and their respective programs
•Lead cross-functional teams to continuously review the Oncor Wildfire Mitigation Plan, ensure implementation of related initiatives, actively engage in industry groups to share best practices, and build partnerships with state agencies
•Collaborate with stakeholders to help establish Program Management framework for resiliency programs inclusive of strategy development, prioritization of scope, program management and integrated reporting
•Provide technical expertise and SME knowledge about both the current and desired future states of Oncor's Wildfire Mitigation Plan and resiliency programs.
•Lead the current remote sensing program and future expansions opportunities to support cross-functional use cases
•Develop, own, and maintain processes needed to facilitate integrated project/program scoping between various Oncor workgroups and activities
•Manage relationships with various Oncor work groups to ensure successful strategy development and execution of resiliency and wildfire mitigation programs
•Lead the cross functional effort to ensure timely completion of regulatory filings related to asset management such as Service Quality Report, Resiliency Plan, Line Clearance Review, Vegetation Management Report, etc.
•Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other job requirements
Education for all
•High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
•Bachelor’s degree in related disciplines such as engineering, business, construction, forestry, project management OR 10 years’ experience in the design, operation and/or execution of electric utility related projects.
Experience
Specific to Manager
•1-3 years of experience in a management role.
•Preferred: 4 years of experience in design, operation and/or project management with an electric utility or related organization.
Specific To Sr. Manager:
•4 years of experience in a leadership or management role.
•Preferred: 7 years of experience in design, operation and/or project management with an electric utility or related organization.
