POSITION SUMMARY
The Manager - Production Reporting is responsible for managing staff and ensuring accurate, timely completion of assigned deliverables. Oversight includes, but is not limited to, providing production data to various sources and stakeholders, reviewing and calculating imbalances, and handling regulatory reporting for production across different states. Under limited supervision, the Manager of Production Reporting reports to the Vice President and Chief Accounting Officer in the Denver office.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
•Manage and oversee the validation, reporting and analysis of daily and monthly allocated production volumes for both operated and non-operated volumes. Analyze and validate all production to ensure accurate internal and external reporting.
•Troubleshoot system issues as well and volumes variances as needed and work with all parties involved to resolve issues timely and accurately.
•Partner with Producer Services Manager to analyze midstream and take-in-kind partner volumes ensuring proper calculations and appropriate make-up of imbalances.
•Ensure completion of the necessary imbalance journal entries into the company’s ERP (Quorum) as well as the reconciliation of the imbalance G/L accounts.
•Monthly, ensure timely and accurate Federal (OGOR) and State (WOGCC, Form 2, C115) production reporting.
•Ensure timely and accurate corrections to any previously filed production forms, as needed.
•Monitor changes in Federal and State production reporting requirements/regulations and implement changes in established processes as applicable.
•Work closely with all departments to identify opportunities to streamline the production process.
•Mentor and assist team members and develop their skill set in areas related to production reporting, field operations, marketing and the ancillary accounting processes.
•Work closely with the Revenue team to ensure accuracy in volumes for disbursement and accruals and establish processes for in-house auditing of regulatory reporting.
•Support the team in researching, analyzing and resolving discrepancies in any of the processes associated with revenue distribution, taxes, royalties or financial reporting (i.e. account reconciliations).
•Assist accounting department in analyzing and troubleshooting system related issues to provide alternatives and solutions for business continuity.
•Participate with and coordinate system testing of ProdView, or any future system to ensure functionality and updates are working accurately and appropriately.
•Deliver excellent customer service and resolve Ad hoc requests from individuals both internally and externally.
•Maintain respectful and productive working relationships within and across all work groups, ensuring effective collaboration and cooperation.

•Manage, train and mentor other analysts on the team.
•Develop Production reporting processes to increase efficiency.
•Routinely monitor or ensure the monitoring of regulatory reporting requirements
•Perform other duties and projects as assigned to support the success of the department and company
MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES
•Provide management as needed to ensure work is completed accurately, thoroughly and on time.
•Provide feedback to direct reports in the form of 1:1s and annual performance process.
•Mentor and promote continuing education and skillset development.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
•Work experience and expertise in oil and gas production including Federal, State and Non-Op.
•Strong analytical skills with attention to details, and the ability to develop, refine and implement initiatives targeted at accurate, efficient and timely production reporting.
•Experience with wellhead and pipeline Gas Balancing, Take in Kind and Marketing contracts.
•Extensive knowledge of ProdView software.
•Extensive expertise and experience in Federal Reporting (OGOR) as well as various State reporting. Work closely with outside agencies to ensure deadlines are met with accurate reporting.
•Self-starter with the ability to work in a lean team and with varying degrees of direction; works well under pressure.
•Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
•Strong problem-solving skills to trouble shoot complex software issues.
•Competent calendar management and coordination of meetings.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS
•Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent relevant work experience
•10+ years of Oil and Gas Production experience
•Experience with Prodview, Cygnet, eLynx and other interface software

•Previous experience in Oil and Gas Exploration & Production
•Understanding of Scada software
