Role Overview

As the Manager, Surface Mining, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of open pit production targets in alignment with site business plans. Reporting to the Manager, Island Gold District, you’ll lead a high-performing team, foster cross-departmental collaboration, and ensure operational excellence across all surface mining activities.

Experience

Required

5 years: Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a mining environment.

5 years: Experience in managing mining budgets and production targets.

Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

A proactive, team-focused mindset with a commitment to safety and accountability.

Preferred

15 years: Open pit mining, including 5+ years in supervisory/management roles.
