Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Transaction Execution (Buyside/Sellside):
•Lead and support all phases of M&A transactions, including origination, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, structuring, and integration planning.
Financial Analysis & Modeling:
•Build and maintain detailed financial models to assess target performance, valuation scenarios, synergy realization, and capital requirements.
Due Diligence Management:
•Coordinate internal and external resources across legal, development, finance, engineering, and operations to conduct thorough due diligence on target buyside projects and manage investor due diligence processes (Q&A, data room management, etc…) for sellside deals.
Strategic Assessment:
Work with senior leadership to identify acquisition and divestiture opportunities aligned with the company's growth and portfolio optimization strategy.
Market Intelligence:
Stay abreast of industry trends, deal activity, and regulatory developments in the renewable energy sector to help inform M&A strategy.
Stakeholder Communication:
Prepare presentations, investment committee memoranda, and board materials for the Strata Management Team.
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related
•3-5+ years of relevant experience in M&A, investment banking, corporate development, or private equity, preferably in the energy or infrastructure sector.
•Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical
•Deep understanding of M&A processes, legal documentation, and structuring
•Experience in the renewable energy sector (e.g., solar, wind, battery storage) is highly
•Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional
•Self-starter with high attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Physical Requirements/Work Environment:
•Work is performed in an office No work from home is permitted.
•Must be able to sit, stand, bend, twist and lift up to 20 pounds.
