The Role

Cameco’s business technology services (BTS) department has an exciting leadership opportunity for an individual who is passionate about IT asset management, configuration management, and architecture. As manager, IT governance, risk and compliance you will be a key member of the management team and report to the director, IT governance, risk and compliance.



In this role, you will:

Ensure effective operation and achievement of expected outcomes for the department
Lead a team of professionals by successfully managing team resources, budgets and performance
Develop and improve IT architecture, IT asset management and IT configuration management
Prioritize to modernize software asset management to handle challenges with subscription and token-based pricing models, along with maturing IT architecture


Required:

Bachelor’s degree in information technology or a related field
Minimum twelve years of progressive experience in a combination of software asset management, configuration management and enterprise architecture
Demonstrated experience and success with IT software asset management, architecture, and IT configuration management
Certified Software Asset Manager (CSAM) or equivalent
Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
Familiarity with core business practices outside of IT
Executive relationship management experience with internal and external stakeholders



Recommended:

TOGAF or equivalent certification
ITIL
