As Manager of Data Analytics, you will lead the team responsible for transforming our unique sensor data into actionable insights that drive real-world emissions reduction. Reporting directly to the CEO, you’ll sit at the center of collaboration between business development, engineering, science, and customers—making this role both highly visible and strategically critical.
You will manage and grow a high-performing team of analysts, spearhead innovations in data interpretation and reporting, and ensure SeekOps continues to deliver best-in-class analytics with speed, precision, and clarity.
- Lead & Inspire: Manage a distributed team of data analysts, setting clear goals, driving performance, and fostering professional growth.
- Deliver Impact: Oversee the timely production of accurate, customer-ready reports that highlight emissions findings and enable operators to act.
- Collaborate Across Functions: Work closely with business development, engineering, and environmental scientists to interpret data, prioritize customer-driven requirements, and translate insights into scalable solutions.
- Innovate & Automate: Partner with the software engineering team to define requirements for automated reporting systems and champion new analytical methods that reduce turnaround time.
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer debriefings, co-develop case studies, and showcase how SeekOps’ solutions accelerate decarbonization goals.
- Productize Analytics: Identify opportunities to enhance deliverables and develop new revenue-generating analytical features.
- Operational Excellence: Ensure reporting workflows align seamlessly with field operations, supporting consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
- Drive Strategy: Manage the analytics group budget, set KPIs, and align team objectives with SeekOps’ growth strategy.
- Education: Master’s degree or higher in a relevant field (data science, engineering, environmental science, etc.) preferred.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong skills in Python, SQL, Microsoft Office, data visualization (e.g., QGIS, ArcGIS, R), and familiarity with AI/ML tools.
- Leadership Skills: Proven track record of managing high-performing teams, setting priorities, and developing career paths for team members.
- Business Acumen: Experience in workflow development, KPI design, financial basics, and translating customer requirements into scalable solutions.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage both executives and technical teams internally and externally.
