The Manager of Compliance and Risk will be responsible for supporting the development and implementation of the company’s compliance and enterprise risk programs. This role involves managing risk assessments, policy development, monitoring and testing, training, regulatory inquiries, and investigations. Responsibilities include assisting in developing, implementing, and managing the company's compliance inventory and risk management framework; supporting the creation and rollout of compliance training and awareness initiatives; conducting regular audits and assessments to identify potential risks and areas of non-compliance; collaborating with department heads to develop strategies for mitigating risks and ensuring compliance; monitoring changes in regulatory requirements and industry standards and updating company policies accordingly; conducting internal reviews of potential misconduct or policy violations; and preparing reports on compliance and risk management activities to senior management. Experience required includes a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Law, Risk Management, or a related field; 7+ years of relevant post-qualification experience in Compliance, Risk Management, or Operations; strong understanding of compliance requirements; excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams; strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Nuclear industry experience is preferred but not required. Certified Compliance & Ethics Professional (CCEP) preferred. Startup experience or experience building a program from inception is a plus.
