Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set that includes mechanical knowledge, electrical expertise, and customer service abilities. As a Maintenance Person, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance tasks, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring that all equipment and facilities are in optimal condition.

Duties

•

Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various systems including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.

•

Conduct residential painting to maintain the aesthetic appeal of facilities.

•

Utilize welding skills to fabricate and repair metal structures as needed.

•

Operate and maintain logic controllers to ensure efficient functioning of equipment.

•

Implement preventive maintenance programs using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).

•

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff and ensure high levels of customer service.

•

Troubleshoot mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs to minimize downtime.

•

Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

•

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.

•

Proficiency in welding and fabrication techniques is highly desirable.

•

Familiarity with electrical systems and components.

•

Experience with residential painting techniques.

•

Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and clients.

•

Knowledge of logic controllers is a plus.

•

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

•

Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
