We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team and contribute to the seamless operation of our manufacturing facility.

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of Trinity Metals’ equipment and facilities. This role involves performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and making necessary repairs to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshooting/Repairs: Ability to identify root causes of issues and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and minor electrical repairs to equipment and machinery and forklifts.

Collaborative/Preventative Maintenance: Work closely with operations teams and Maintenance Manager to identify potential maintenance/part improvements and adhere to a preventative maintenance schedule to reduce breakdowns and downtime.

Facilities Maintenance: Perform needed tasks around the facility to ensure proper upkeep of property and building.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and practices to ensure a safe working environment. Report any safety hazards or incidents to management immediately.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial machinery and equipment.

Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. Proficiency in reading technical manuals and schematics.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy objects, stand for long periods of time and perform physically demanding tasks.

Problem Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and the ability to work under pressure and time constraints.

Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Flexibility: Willingness to work various days, including Saturdays as needed.
