Ability to perform various mechanical duties on machines and equipment needed for production. Responsibilities are cumulative, i.e. the technician should be able to perform all the duties and responsibilities up to and including those listed for the current job.
· Ability to program motor drives, troubleshoot or program PLC or have advanced instrumentation training.
· Conducts scheduled preventative maintenance procedures. Determines root cause of PM related failures and recommends improvements to PM schedule.
· Informs supervisor or operations on the status of equipment and notifies of any problem areas.
· Has advanced training and/or certifications in hydraulics, electronics, fabrication, instrumentation, etc.

· Sitting, bending, standing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and walking, and use hands; reaching with hands and arms, talking, climbing or balancing may be required throughout the day.
· Specific vision abilities required by this position includes close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to focus.
· Occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles.
· May be exposed to a wide range of temperatures.
· Noise level is usually loud; will need to wear earplugs if needed.
· Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
· Must be able to lift or move up to 50 lbs. in a working environment.
