Maintenance Technician I - Asphalt Plant

Description

- Follows all maintenance, government and company procedures, policies, and guidelines.

- Assists in identifying and resolving maintenance issues.

- Performs routine inspections of maintenance and environmental work activities.

- Performs all duties following the established safety rules and guidelines.

- Ensures company vehicles and equipment are properly maintained.

- Updates and maintains records for equipment maintenance.

- Maintains a safe, clean and organized work site.

- Assists with mowing and maintaining tank farms, ROWs and associated property.

- Initiates emergency call outs, and acts as the first responder / QI until assistance arrives.

- Maintains a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

This position is hourly nonexempt status, which means you are eligible for overtime pay.

Qualifications

- High school diploma or GED required.

- 1 year of experience in terminal operations preferred.

- Previous maintenance or construction experience on/in a pipeline/terminal preferred.

- Prior maintenance craft experience (welder, machinist, heavy equipment operator, etc.) preferred.

Position level and salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
