Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and problem-solving, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Duties

•

Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on facilities and equipment to ensure optimal performance.

•

Perform electrical repairs and installations, including troubleshooting electrical systems.

•

Execute mechanical repairs, including the maintenance of HVAC systems, plumbing, and other mechanical components.

•

Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or enhancements using appropriate tools and techniques.

•

Oversee residential painting projects, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards.

•

Utilize an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to assess electrical systems and troubleshoot issues.

•

Supervise maintenance staff when necessary, providing guidance and support in daily tasks.

•

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs performed, and inventory of supplies.

•

Respond promptly to maintenance requests from staff or management.

Experience

•

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.

•

Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in electrical systems is essential.

•

Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus but not mandatory.

•

Experience in supervising teams or projects is advantageous.

•

Proficiency in English for effective communication within the team and with management.

•

Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
