Purpose of Role:
The Maintenance Supervisor leads the department to maximize equipment uptime, ensure safety compliance, and drive continuous improvement—all while staying within budget and supporting production goals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our zero harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture.
- Lead the Maintenance Department to maximize equipment uptime and plant efficiency
- Develop and implement strategic maintenance plans aligned with production goals and budget
- Drive continuous improvement in maintenance processes and systems
- Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental standards (ES&H)
- Maintain 6S standards for a clean and organized work environment
- Manage the maintenance request system for timely and effective task execution
- Enforce permit-to-work procedures for employees and contractors
- Ensure high-quality workmanship across all maintenance activities
- Collaborate with production teams to align maintenance with operational needs
- Support team development through coaching, training, and performance management
- GED or High School Diploma required, diploma or degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3+ years of experience as a Maintenance Supervisor- Relevant trade certification (e.g., Millwright, Electrician)
- Safety training (e.g., ES&H, First Aid)
- CMMS knowledge or certification preferred
- Leadership or supervisory training is an asset
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for candidates that have the ability to perform the objectives above.
