Maintenance Scheduler

Description

The Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance tasks to ensure efficient operations and compliance with safety regulations. This role involves managing preventative maintenance programs, responding to emergency maintenance requests, and maintaining detailed records of all maintenance activities.

This position operates 90% of the time in at our Fort Dodge underground mine and 10% of the time in an office setting at our Alden Shop in Alden, IA.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl; and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position that regularly requires Monday – Friday and some weekend work. The average work week is 55 to 60 hours per week.
