Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. The Maintenance Person will play a vital role in maintaining high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Duties
•Conduct routine inspections of facilities and equipment to identify maintenance needs.
•Perform repairs and maintenance on various systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC.
•Fabricate components as needed for repairs or improvements.
•Execute residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic quality.
•Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and maintenance schedules.
•Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
•Supervise maintenance staff during projects to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to safety protocols.
•Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant concerns promptly and professionally.
Requirements
•Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, is essential for effective communication.
•Experience with logic controllers is preferred for troubleshooting automated systems.
•Strong background in facilities maintenance with hands-on experience in various trades.
•Ability to fabricate parts or components as necessary for repairs.
•Knowledge of residential painting techniques and materials.
•Proven leadership skills with experience supervising others in a maintenance setting.
•Excellent customer service skills, demonstrating professionalism when interacting with clients or tenants.
