ESG Operations, an Inframark Company, is hiring a Maintenance Mechanics in Training. You would work as a field-based maintenance technician responsible for troubleshooting and repairing wastewater equipment, including engines, pumps, and motors within the city of Albany, GA. We are looking for candidates with strong electrical and mechanical aptitude to join our team.

Schedule

M-F 7-3:30 with some OT and rotating on-call schedule

Qualifications

Prefer three months of related experience, a high school diploma or GED, or specialized vocational training. Must have a valid state driver's license and meet minimum driving standards.

Working conditions

The position requires some responsibility for safety and health of others and/or for occasional enforcement of the standards of public safety or health.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.

Physical Requirements

This position requires frequent standing, kneeling, bending and climbing. The employee must be able to use hands to operate and manipulate tools and equipment. This position requires very heavy physical exertion including the ability to lift over 50 pounds and exert over 100 pounds of force on a regular basis. The employee must be willing to work non-standard and overtime hours as required. The position requires normal visual acuity and field of vision, hearing, and depth perception.
