MAPEI is seeking an Instrumentation & Electrical Technician to join the site maintenance team, reporting to the Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Instrumentation and Electrical Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical and instrumentation systems in an industrial setting. This role ensures the safe and efficient operation of equipment and systems, contributing to the overall productivity and reliability of the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
•Install, maintain, and repair electrical and instrumentation systems (sensors, relays, actuators, controls).
•Troubleshoot and resolve system issues using diagnostic tools and test equipment.
•Perform calibration and alignment checks to ensure instrumentation accuracy.
•Conduct preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
•Maintain detailed records of maintenance, calibrations, and inspections.
•Follow all safety standards and company policies during work activities.
•Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support operations and improvements.
•Provide guidance and training to junior technicians.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment, adhering to all safety regulations and protocols.
•Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
•High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in a technical field (e.g., Electrical Engineering or Industrial Technology) preferred
•3–5 years of manufacturing maintenance experience with a focus on electrical and instrumentation
•Proficient in AC/DC circuits, VFD drives, PLC systems, and motor controls
•Skilled in using electrical test instruments (voltmeters, ammeters, oscilloscopes)
•Strong understanding of electrical/mechanical principles and troubleshooting techniques
•Physically able to climb, crawl, work in confined spaces, stand for long periods, and lift up to 55 lbs. (100 lbs. with assistance)
•Required to use personal protective equipment (PPE)
•Proficient in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems
•OSHA, NCCER, or ISA certifications preferred
