Maintenance Engineering Superintendent

Where will you work: - K2 Esterhazy, Saskatchewan

Maintenance Engineering Superintendent is a member of the site leadership team at the Potash Mining sites. This role is responsible for establishing, leading and monitoring site-level strategic objectives to ensure they deliver the intended results on time, lead the development, implementation and improvement of maintenance strategies, workflow management systems, engineering project management and problem-solving support to close performance gaps, creating alignment between business unit and site objectives, between internal and external customers, and across the operations and maintenance teams within the facility and business unit. Site capital Liaison for both budgeting and establishing Turn Around calendar along with priorities.

What will you do?* Support the site in achieving all operational goals (safety, quality, production, costs) by aligning and managing technical resources allocated to that specific site (plant performance, workflow, electrical and instrumentation performance) and utilizing business unit functional centralized resources (process, project, continuous improvement, reliability, other) as needed. Leads and assists the sites with the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of maintenance systems and processes in accordance with relevant codes, standards, and best practices. Provides oversight and guidance on Opex/CapEx budgeting and spending. May be indirectly responsible for $20MM to #200MM of CapEx and/or Opex budget.

What you’ll need:* Education: + Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. + Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation is preferred.

+ Minimum of 10 years of experience in maintenance and/or engineering, with at least 5 years preferred in a supervisory role. + Experience in the mining industry, particularly in potash mining, is highly desirable. + Strong leadership and team management skills. + Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. + Proficiency in maintenance management software (e.g., CMMS - SAP). + Knowledge of OH&S/Mine regulations and best practices in maintenance.
