Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of our facility's equipment and systems. This role requires a hands-on approach to maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of various mechanical and electrical systems. The Maintenance Engineer will supervise and direct the maintenance team to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Duties
•
Supervise, direct, and be a subject matter expert for members of the maintenance team.
•
Coordinate work with outside contractors.
•
Collaborate with our management team to prioritize repairs.
•
Become familiar with computerized maintenance system.
•
Be able to troubleshoot rotating equipment, power systems, pneumatic pumps, motors, and electric powered systems up to 480V.
•
Read and interpret schematics to understand system layouts and troubleshoot effectively.
•
Weld components as necessary to ensure structural integrity of equipment.
•
PLC, drive programming, and welding is a plus.
•
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.
•
Must be able to work off shift hours as needed.
Experience
•
A minimum of 3 years proven supervisory experience is required.
•
Post secondary education in a maintenance and/or electrical related field.
•
Previous work performing maintenance in a large manufacturing facility.
•
Strong knowledge of maintenance, and repair techniques.
•
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail in diagnosing issues effectively.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
