Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of electrical systems and equipment within our facility. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical principles, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and repair various electrical components. The Maintenance Electrician will work closely with other maintenance staff to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Responsibilities
•Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
•Troubleshoot electrical issues using precision measuring instruments and ammeters.
•Fabricate components as needed to ensure optimal performance of machinery.
•Conduct field service tasks, including installation and repair of electrical systems.
•Collaborate with HVAC/R technicians to maintain integrated systems.
•Utilize stick welding techniques for repairs and modifications as necessary.
•Work with hydraulics in conjunction with electrical systems to ensure proper functionality.
•Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
•Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing duties.
Requirements
•Proven experience as an electrician, preferably in an industrial setting.
•Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including troubleshooting techniques.
•Familiarity with hydraulics and their integration with electrical components is a plus.
•Proficiency in using ammeters and other precision measuring instruments.
•Experience in fabricating parts or components for machinery is desirable.
•Competence in stick welding and general welding practices is an asset.
•Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
•Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are essential.
