Join our team as a Maintenance Electrician, where you'll play a vital role in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of electrical, cathodic protection, radio telemetry, and facility operations for Southwest Pipeline Project (SWPP) and Southwest Water Authority (SWA).
SWPP is regional water delivery system serving municipal, rural and industrial water users. SWA maintains and operates the SWPP and is a political subdivision led by a 15-member Board of Directors representing the 12 counties in the SWPP service area, and the cities of Dickinson and Mandan.
- Review and become proficient with project plans, specifications, and O&M manuals.
- Perform routine and corrective maintenance on electrical equipment.
- Prepare reports and maintain operating records to track system performance.
- Maintain comprehensive records and reports, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Make necessary adjustments to maximize system protection.
- Understand and apply knowledge of SCADA-controlled equipment and radio telemetry systems.
- Diagnose and repair equipment to ensure seamless communication and operation.
- Conduct system calibrations and adjustments as required.
- Study operational manuals for pump stations, vaults, pipelines, appurtenances, and water treatment plants.
- Perform scheduled maintenance and necessary repairs following manufacturer guidelines.
- Keep detailed operational records and generate reports on facility performance.
- Experience in electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation.
- Proficiency in SCADA systems and radio telemetry equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
