Summary

The Maintenance and Reliability Engineer – RNG will work primarily on industrial biotechnology and energy projects. The candidate shall have experience surrounding the design, commissioning, maintenance and operations of renewable natural gas facilities including knowledge of carbon intensity modeling (GREET), digester feed handling, anaerobic digestion design biogas purification, and handling of digestion discharge streams and all related applicable engineering codes. This Maintenance and Reliability Engineer will play a key role in the successful operating and maintaining of RNG production sites. This role will also be a leader in continuous improvement of our design and engineering of sites through direct feedback with our engineering team.

Education and/or Experience

Language Skills

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers. The ability to communicate effectively with multiple project stakeholders.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Excellent problem solving through root cause analysis process.

Computer Skills

Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Proficiency in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Microsoft D365 Field Service experience a plus.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

Professional Engineer (PE) license.
