As an Entry Level Maintenance Mechanic, your primary focus is to maintain peak performance across production lines. Youll be exposed to a variety of mechanical and electrical systems, allowing you to expand your knowledge and skill set quickly. This is a hands-on position that requires initiative, a strong work ethic, and a problem-solving mindset.
Pay:$16.00 - $20.00 per hour (based on experience)
Shift Schedule
- 7:00 AM - 6:30 PM or 7:00 PM - 6:30 AM
- Monday through Saturday
- Night shift availability preferred
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
- Maintain detailed maintenance records and prioritize work orders
- Identify standardized parts across production lines
- Use multimeters and demonstrate basic electrical understanding
- Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform HVAC maintenance and troubleshooting
- Operate tools including grinders, torches, and welders
- Follow all safety procedures, including LOTO and OSHA compliance
- Maintain clean and safe working areas; support waste reduction efforts
- Collaborate with team members and report directly to the Maintenance Leadman and Plant Engineer
- Demonstrated mechanical skills and maintenance experience
- Basic electrical knowledge; PLC troubleshooting a plus
- Welding and fabrication skills preferred
- Must provide your own basic tools (company provides specialty tools)
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly; occasionally lift 100+ lbs.- Capable of operating forklifts, scissor lifts, and man-lifts (certification/training provided)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Must pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening
