Job Duties:
•Operate all equipment within the Finishing Operations, including mills, lathes, blasters, saws, and grinders, to produce parts according to print specifications.
•Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy; reject nonconforming products and stack acceptable parts according to production standards.
•Load and secure raw steel materials into machines safely and accurately, ensuring proper placement for each operation.
•Verify tolerances on machined, lathed, blasted, or sawed parts to ensure alignment with engineering drawings and product specifications.
•Perform routine maintenance by inspecting and replacing tools, saw blades, grinding stones, and inserts as needed to maintain production efficiency.
•Follow all posted work instructions and standard operating procedures at assigned workstations to ensure consistent output.
•Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace in alignment with 5S and safety practices.
•Utilize a tape measure and other measuring devices accurately; repair and band boxes as needed to support material handling and shipping.
•Train on and become proficient in all warehouse machinery and operations, including cross-training for mills, lathes, blasters, saws, and grinders.
•Comply with all company safety rules, guidelines, and PPE requirements; perform other duties as assigned to support team and production goals.
What you need to be successful:
•High School Diploma or Equivalent
•Valid ID or Driver’s License
•Ability to stand, bend and walk for extended periods throughout the day
•Be able to life or move at least 40lbs
