The Technology + Innovation Lab is looking for a Machine Learning Advisor to help integrate and optimize machine learning models in production environments. In this role, you’ll contribute to deploying models through effective MLOps practices, working alongside experienced data scientists, and engineers to bridge the gap between experimentation and real-world applications.
We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in software engineering and a growing interest in machine learning operations. You should be eager to learn, experiment, and contribute to the development of reliable systems by writing high-quality, maintainable code. Familiarity with unit testing and best practices for ensuring code quality is important, as you’ll help ensure that ML solutions are robust, scalable, and ready for production.

What You Will Do
+ Experience with DevOps Platforms such as Azure DevOps and GitHub Enterprise automating software development lifecycle + Cloud AI Development Platform: Databricks, Microsoft Azure + Programming skills in languages such as Python + ML Frameworks/Libraries: scikit-learn, MLFlow, TensorFlow or Py Torch + IDE: Visual Studio Code
Physical Requirements Include But Are Not Limited To
Grasping, kneeling, light – moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
