Position: The lube tech position is a vital piece of the mechanic shop at North Antelope Rochelle Mine (NARM).Willing to train.
· Pass a background check with no felonies.
· Pass a pre-employment physical and drug screening.
· Be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds.
· Responsible for taking equipment to wash bay, and washing trucks or equipment needing service
· Light and cab checks before washing completion of inspection sheet
· Inspection of hydraulic and fluid leaks before washing – create notes for mechanics
· Write down all defects found throughout process
· Complete oil, fuel, air, and filter change
· Keep shop and yard clean when services are due
· Trash, parts, tool room, filter area, lube shed at shop and mains. Snow removal at shop during winter.
· Maintain service hour checks with Lead Blasters to keep schedule on track for them and shop.
· Maintain filters and oil level in lube bay.
Working Environment: Working conditions are sometimes outdoors in all weather conditions of temperature and climate, or in the cab of a truck, or indoors of operating the manufacturing plant.
Schedule: Shift is generally four days on, four days off, continuously. Schedule includes weekends and holidays.
