- Data, Voice, & Video Cabling - Access Control
. Our team is currently looking for motivated and skilled Low Voltage Technicians to join us. Ideally, candidates will have experience with low voltage systems and familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC), although this is not a requirement as we are happy to provide training. This role offers significant opportunities for professional growth within the low voltage technology field.
To be successful in this position, candidates must have their own reliable transportation to travel to and from various job sites and possess basic hand tools necessary for the work. This position will initially be on a 1099 basis, with the possibility of on-call work.
We are seeking individuals who are eager to develop their careers with a growing small business. Our projects vary in size and duration, ranging from large-scale, months-long installations to smaller, week-long & 1 day turnovers .We are in the process of building dedicated "go-to" teams of technicians for specific job sites, covering both installation and service needs
Responsibilities Must possess or have the willingness to learn
- Install, maintain, and repair low voltage systems such as security alarms, access control, and CCTV systems
- Troubleshoot and detect issues in low voltage systems
- Interpret schematics and wiring diagrams for low voltage installations
- Proficiency in National Electrical Code (NEC) standards
- Certification in low voltage systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of computer networking related to low voltage systems
- Experience in alarm system sales and installation a plus
- Ability to detect and resolve issues in IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems)
- Skilled in building and configuring low voltage systems
- Familiarity with service technician responsibilities for low voltage equipment
