STG Mining Supplies is looking for a proactive, detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator to join our growing Logistics team. If you have experience in national and international freight operations and thrive in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment — we want to hear from you!
- Coordinate domestic and international shipments via ground, air, sea, and intermodal transportation
- Prepare and manage shipping and customs documentation (BOLs, commercial invoices, export declarations, DG/IATA forms, CERS, ACE/ACI, ASNs)
- Ensure timely delivery and provide updates to internal teams and clients
- Negotiate freight rates, terms, and agreements with carriers and 3PLs
- Liaise with customs brokers and government agencies to ensure compliance
- Monitor and track all shipments; address delays or incidents as needed
- Maintain databases for shipping records, purchase orders, and import/export logs
- Collaborate with Procurement, Sales, and Customer Service teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
- Review and approve invoices from logistics and customs providers
- Maintain a clean and organized logistics/reception area
- Represent STG professionally in all vendor and stakeholder interactions
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and transportation
- Proficiency in ERP systems, TMS, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Teams
- Knowledge of Dangerous Goods handling, customs processes, and tariffs
- Excellent English communication skills (Spanish is an asset)
- Strong organizational, analytical, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working independently and under pressure
- Forklift License is a plus (but not required)
- SAP or QuickBooks experience is considered an asset
