Job Summary:

Manage and optimize the movement, distribution, and storage of materials for RAC Americas, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while meeting customer expectations and budget requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement transportation strategies to optimize cost and performance

- Manage domestic and international carriers and logistics intermediaries

- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, and Purchasing to create an efficient supply chain

- Ensure compliance with import/export laws and regulations

- Evaluate trade-offs between transportation cost, inventory, and service levels

- Manage the Norfolk transportation & logistics team

- Implement standard procedures for logistics and transportation across all regional sites

- Monitor and improve logistic performance through Freight P&L analysis

- Manage rail car fleet, including maintenance and end-of-life decisions

- Optimize warehouse stock levels in collaboration with S&OP team

Required Qualifications:

- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Engineering, or related field

- 10+ years of experience in supply chain management in a global environment

- Strong understanding of logistics processes across truck, ocean, and rail transportation

- Excellent analytical, financial, and P&L skills

- Proficiency in ERP systems and data analysis

- Strong leadership and communication skills
