Experience: 3+ Years Service Tech

Requirements:

· High School diploma or equivalent

· MANDATORY Clean drug test, background check and driving record

· Moderate lifting and high energy level of walking or standing throughout the day

* Commercial locking hardware installation experience

* Low voltage wiring experience

Job Description

Technician Job Duties:

Install, repair, rebuild, and service mechanical / electrical locking devices (cylindrical/mortise locks, maglocks, exit devices and door closers), using, ladders, hand tools, power tools and special equipment. Install low energy auto door operators and program for proper function. Replace existing doors/frames and related hardware.

Read, understand, follow and enforce safety procedures, including wearing protective equipment (PPE).

Service Technician will work with team to install, test, troubleshoot and maintain access control locks and equipment and document services performed. Ability to use test equipment such as multimeter and toner, read blueprints and communicate effectively.

Position requires some out of town travel and after hrs work but most work is in the surrounding areas.

Skills and Qualifications:

Ability to use all types of hand and power tools such as cordless drills, saws and high-speed cutting equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
