CORE is a privately held oilfield pipeline manufacturing and service company founded in 2012. The Company manufactures and installs a unique factory build pipe-in-pipe corrosion-resistant pipeline system. CORE’s Linepipe product called CORE Liner® uses an outer steel pipe for structural integrity and damage resistance with a polymer liner inserted in the pipe for a reliable and durable corrosion-resistance barrier. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting directly to the Yard Supervisor/Logistics Coordinator, the Loader Operator will safely operate wheel loaders and telehandlers. The primary role will accommodate the safe movement of products to/from trucks and the manufacturing facility. Responsibilities also include the operation of tools and equipment needed to move and store products. To monitor products for quality status and maintain the yard. The Loader Operator will also effectively facilitate and communicate the incoming and outgoing of products with the Inventory Coordinator and the Plant Manager. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
•Ensure workplace safety by actively participating in CORE’s Safety Program.
•Strictly adhere to company policies and procedures.
•Operate heavy equipment: loaders, forklifts, telehandlers, sand spreaders & pickup trucks.
•Safely load and unload pipe to the plant, throughout the yard and from trailers.
•Accountable for the safe, damage-free placement and organization of pipe and products.
•Observation of products quality providing feedback to management.
•Inspect, and repair inventory ensuring quality: packaging, cover, corrosion and degradation of pipe.
•Organize and manage truckers in the yard; ship and receive products; load & unload deliveries, compile documentation, sign off on packing slips, log shipping receiving times.
•Inspect incoming materials at the time of unloading including completing incoming inspections.
•Organize bunks and dunnage; properly stored, serviced, quantities available.
•Set up and maintain pipe storage; bases, stops.
•Inspect and maintain yard accessories; saw horses, loading/unloading backstops.
•Heavy equipment inspected, serviced and maintained; inspections, greased, cleaned, fueled, spare parts, scheduled and breakdown service.
•Ensure pipe grapple is in good working order; inspections, greased, cleaned, spare parts basic service, coating protection, fork sleeves.
•Yard maintenance; inspection, ground conditions, rig mats, snow, landscaping, garbage.
•Effectively work with other departments, vendors and contractors to achieve targets.
•Complete employee training, ensuring competency.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & EDUCATION
•Two years of relevant experience operating wheel loaders and telehandlers, preferably moving pipe.
•Strong work ethic with high personal standards for performance.
•Heavy lifting (Example; pipe dunnage/machined parts).
QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (QMS)
•Understand and apply the CORE Quality Policy.
•Be aware of the CORE QMS.
•Participate actively in training, operational improvement teams, preventative and corrective actions and identifying non-conformities.
•Identifying, understanding, and applying applicable standard operating procedures and work instructions.
