As a Loader I/II, you are responsible for safe and efficient loading of tank cars, barges and trucks with strict adherence to safety rules, governmental regulations, and compliance processes. The ability to work in teams to improve efficiency in a safety and environmentally sensitive, customer service driven environment will be key to success! Responsibilities/Expectations:

Loads Liquified Petroleum Gas (LPG) products into tank cars, trucks and barges for delivery to market
Ensures the safe operation of the loading equipment including supervising gauges and hose connections
Operates heavy-duty hand tools and/or small equipment and reports all safety concerns and equipment issues
Completes inspection reports, daily logs, and other reports as necessary; follows all applicable operating rules and procedures
Collaborates with internal logistics team and external partners
Other duties assigned


Education/Years of Experience:

Required: High school diploma/GED
Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree; minimum six (6) months experience in oil & natural gas industry


Requirements:

Demonstrates excellent organizational/interpersonal skills and safety as the utmost priority
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications and PC skills
Preferred: Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role
Preferred: Associates or two-year technical degree
Valid Driver's License
Ability to secure a Transportation Worker's Identification Credential (TWIC)


Physical and Environment Work Requirements:


The ability to:

Work in extreme temperatures, with loud noises and in enclosed spaces
Carry or lift items up to 50 lbs and team lift loads of more than 50 lbs as needed
Stand, walk, climb, bend, stoop, and squat, often for long periods of time
Work at elevated levels, potentially from man lifts, ladders, scaffolding, and/or small towers, with appropriate PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
Use hand tools


Shift/Work Hours/Travel Requirements:

Available to work after hours, weekend shifts and holiday
May be required to work overtime
This position is a 12-hour shift Wednesday-Tuesday (7 days on and 7 days off)
