Primary Purpose:

Under limited supervision responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining a liquefied natural gas manufacturing plant.

Primary Duties:

•

Under limited supervision is regularly and customarily responsible for monitoring, operating and maintaining the LNG Plant.

•

Performs scheduled lubrication, parts replacement, repairs, and overhauls mechanical equipment. Adjusts instruments in accordance with established schedules, or as required by operation or breakdown in the LNG Plant.

•

Works with other Gas Operations personnel and/or equipment manufacturer service representative or repairs or overhauls of equipment in Gas Operations Department.

•

May maintain buildings and property as required in Gas Operations Department.

•

Prepares and maintains such records and reports as may be necessary.

•

Make complete tour of LNG Plant as scheduled to check condition of all equipment for operating and safety purposes. Records data obtained by mechanical or electrical means.

•

Regularly climbs the LNG storage tanks and other vessels for routine inspection and/or emergency conditions.

•

Inspects, maintains, tests and operates fire protection, leak detection, and other emergency equipment.

•

Assists other Gas Operations personnel in performing maintenance in other Gas Operations facilities when required.

•

May be required to load and unload trucks and/or barges pertaining to LNG Plant.

•

Performs other related or less-skilled work, as required or directed, including operation of automotive equipment.

Minimum Qualifications:

•

Must have a high school education or its equivalent.

•

Must be in good physical condition and pass back x-ray. Be able to climb and work above ground in extreme weather conditions.

•

Normal vision and hearing.

•

Must possess mechanical ability and experience of a nature that will satisfy the Company that he/she is able to operate and maintain plant.

•

Must have experience reading and interpreting piping, instrument or electrical drawings/prints.

•

Must have experience performing troubleshooting or diagnostics on mechanical, instrument, electrical or electronic systems and components.

•

Must have experience installing testing, repairing and/or maintaining mechanical, instrument, electrical and/or electronic equipment ,systems and components.

•

Must be able to think clearly and logically under stress.

•

Legible handwriting.

•

Able to pass written and oral tests when developed.

•

Must be willing to work shift or scheduled hours.

•

Must be willing and able to work overtime on a regular basis and must be available for callout overtime.

•

Reads, writes and communicates effectively in the English language.

Hourly wage will vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and other factors: USD $41.18/Hr. - USD $41.18/Hr.
