Job Overview:

As a Line Operator at Trinity Metals, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our production lines. You will be responsible for monitoring equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring that production meets quality standards. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and a commitment to safety.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate Production Equipment: Set up, operate, and monitor machinery and equipment on the production line. This includes adjusting machine settings to ensure optimal performance and quality.

Monitor Quality: Inspect products at various stages of production to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

Perform Routine Maintenance: Conduct regular maintenance and minor repairs on production equipment to prevent downtime and ensure smooth operation.

Adhere to Safety Protocols: Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.

Document Production Data: Maintain accurate records of production output, equipment performance, and any issues encountered during the production process.

Collaborate with Team: Work closely with other team members and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and address any production issues promptly.

Continuous Improvement: Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience as a production line operator or in a manufacturing environment is preferred but not required. On-the-job training will be provided.

Skills:

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift and move heavy objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and work in a fast-paced environment.

Work Environment:

Schedule: Full-time position with potential for overtime. Must have willingness to work Saturdays as needed.

Work Conditions: Manufacturing environment with exposure to machinery and varying temperatures. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
