We have an exciting opportunity open for a Line Locator in our Fort Smith, AR district.

POSITION SUMMARY:

The Line Locator is responsible for identifying, mapping out, locating, and marking underground facilities using sophisticated mapping programs, electronic detection equipment, and utility maps in communication with internal personnel and external contractors. In addition, they will coordinate and provide assistance in assessing locations for a need to repair, modify, and expand complying with industry standards, policies, guidelines, and procedures.

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement.

This position is covered under DOT regulations and the Summit Utilities Drug & Alcohol Policy and is, therefore, subject to all terms of the Policy, including the random selection for drug testing.

Must live within 30-mile radius of AOG Operating Headquarters. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

EDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCE:* High school diploma or GED

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:* Proficient with computers
