Licensed Journeyman

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Journeyperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in electrical work, including both industrial and commercial experience. This role requires proficiency in various electrical systems, the ability to read blueprints and schematics, and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship. As a Journeyperson, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical installations and repairs meet industry standards.

Duties

- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC)

- Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for automation tasks

- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively for various tasks

- Conduct troubleshooting on high voltage and low voltage systems

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents

- Perform renovations and new construction electrical installations

- Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure project timelines are met

- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols

Experience

- Proven experience as an industrial electrician or commercial electrician

- Familiarity with electrical testing equipment such as ohmmeters

- Experience in frame carpentry or maintenance person tasks is a plus

- Ability to work effectively on construction sites with a focus on teamwork

- Strong understanding of electrical systems, including renovation projects

Pay: Up to $50.00 per hour
