This is a full-time on-site Level II NDT Technician role located in Odessa, TX. The successful candidate will perform non-destructive testing on a wide range of materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, plastics, and ceramics. The role requires a strong focus on safety and testing accuracy, with duties that include using NDT instruments such as x-ray machines, ultrasonic, magnetic particle testing, and liquid penetrant testing equipment. The role also requires effective communication to ensure detailed and accurate documentation and the provision of feedback to customers.
· ASNT NDT Level II Certification with experience in Radiographic Testing, Magnetic Testing, Penetrant Testing, Ultrasonic Testing, and Visual Testing.
· Ability to interpret codes, specifications, and standards such as ASTM, ASME, and AWS.
· Experience with material testing and mechanical properties of materials.
· The ability to perform mathematical calculations and understand algebraic concepts applied to NDT testing procedures.
· Ability to deal with a variety of levels of personnel across different functions, and to handle confidential information and documents.
· Ability to prioritize work and manage multiple projects simultaneously to meet customer needs.
· Must be at least 18 years of age with a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
· Must be able to pass drug and alcohol testing, background checks, and eligible to work in the United States.
· A High School Diploma or equivalent is required. Additional certifications in NDT, Welding, or Trades are a plus.
