Job Summary:
Legal Administrator will focus on the administration, research, review & preparation of legal documents and matters.
Ideal Candidate:
Experienced legal administrator with outstanding administrative, organizational and research skills. The ideal candidate will also possess a keen interest in learning, superior collaboration & communication skills and will be a key member of an engaged legal team.
Key Responsibilities:
•Review and prepare legal documents & contracts related to a variety of customer, supplier, commercial, financial, and operational matters.
•Provide legal administrative and research support with respect to business transactions including but not limited to attending meetings, drafting and responding to communications
•Assist with the maintenance of corporate minute books and annual filings
•Assist and support legal matters involving affiliated companies
•Provide administrative support in the tracking of contracts & renewals
•Good at dealing with people and communicating effectively with internal and external parties
Qualifications:
•Minimum 3+ years of legal experience
•Computer skills – Strong in MS Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint) and DocuSign
•Familiarity with employment law
•Strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Strong personal flexibility – able to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity and rapid change.
•Strong attention to detail and intense focus on accuracy.
•Strong analytical skills
•Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues, internal clients and counterparts.
