Lease Operator/Well Tender

Overview PPG Operations LLC (PPGO) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lease Operator/Well Tender to join our team in the oil and gas industry. This role is essential for the efficient operation and maintenance of oil and gas wells and associated equipment. The ideal candidate will possess a background and experience monitoring production equipment, with the ability to perform maintenance on equipment as necessary and knowledge of and commitment to safety procedures and regulations. This position will require working in all outdoor weather conditions. Must possess a valid PA driver’s license with driver record acceptable to PPGO. We are seeking an individual with the ability to communicate well and work effectively in a small team. Job Summary: Responsible for daily operations of assigned oil and gas wells to include all processing equipment and production facilities. Must evaluate and maintain peak production performance for all wells on assigned route. This hourly, non-exempt position will work with direct and indirect supervision.

Supervisory Responsibilities: NONE

Essential Functions:

* Optimize each well on assigned route given daily operating conditions.

* Manage all fluids on assigned route.

* Check all equipment daily and make normal repairs by troubleshooting site situations.

* Exercise proper care and maintenance of company equipment.

* Accurately report all regulatory items daily.

* Report problems requiring additional help or equipment to Supervisor.

* Accurately record meter readings, pressures, and production volumes for reports.

* Perform job functions with concern for safety and the environment.

* Proactively communicate in a positive, professional manner with landowners, contractors, and all team members.

* Perform additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

Required Skills/Abilities:

* Basic computer skills necessary (data entry/ability to learn and analyze new applications).

* Basic math skills required to calculate tank volumes and gas flow rates.

* Self-motivated with critical attention to detail, deadlines, and reporting.

* Ability to work well autonomously and within a team.

* Must possess the ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance to include, but not limited to, shovels, wrenches, rakes, and the like.

* May be required to work more than 40 hours per week which may include some nights and weekends and respond to after-hours emergencies when necessary.

Education/Experience:

* High school diploma or equivalent.

* At least two years related experience required.

* Valid PA driver’s license with driver record acceptable to PPGO.

* Must successfully pass pre-employment (post-offer) drug screen.

Physical Requirements:

* Ability to wear and utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE).

* Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds consistently.

* Ability to work in field environment with exposure to dust, extreme heat, exhausts fumes, noise, vibration, inclement and adverse weather conditions.

* Ability to work and walk on uneven terrain and atop elevated surfaces.

* Ability to bend, sit, stoop, kneel, squat and stand for long periods of time.

*Ability to move and position body repetitively and constantly use hands and fingers in performance of work.

*Ability to work with minimal amount of light for any night shift operations.
