As a Lean Systems Engineer for the Copeland HVACR Americas team, you will lead the Copeland Business system implementation in the HVACR Americas sites. This individual will be a change agent that will drive continuous improvement initiatives with our sites both on the shop floor and in the office to enable productivity in operations. You will partner with our Advanced manufacturing and product engineering teams to develop lean layouts and processes for our next generation of manufacturing lines. The lean systems leader will be a Kaizen facilitator that increases value in critical value streams and leads efforts to improve OEE at our manufacturing sites.
As a Lean Systems Engineer, You Will:
- Leadership of Critical Value Streams to ensure focused efforts and Improvements of OEE and SQDC.
- Lead CBS Rollout Across HVACR Americas Sites
- Partner with AME Project Leaders on Next Generation Manufacturing Line Development to Ensure Lean Setup and Preparation of Standard Work, 5S, Material Flow and Line Side Pull Systems
- Management of the Value Stream Map Cycle Including VSM, Continuous Flow and Pull.
- Expert in Lean Tools Such as 5S, SMED, TPM, Kaizen, Pull, and Kanban
- Coach CI Roadmaps within Sites to Drive Lean Transformation
- Facilitate Site & BU Level Kaizen Events
- BS/BA Industrial Engineering or related technical field
- Minimum of 7 years of experience Lean, Continuous improvement role
- Excellent Communication skills with the ability to interact effectively from the manufacturing shop floor to executive management
- Ability to analyze, synthesize, and manage complex situations, solving conflicts and driving team alignment
- Proven mentor or coach that can collaborate cross functionally
- Proven record of driving continuous improvement and operational excellence- 10+ years of experience in Lean Systems or Continuous Improvement, preferably with multi-site roll outs.
- MBA or Master's in other related field
This role is hybrid eligible with the requirement to be in office at least three days per week. Colleagues are expected to demonstrate a collaboration first mindset, which is the understanding that teams will work together in-person and colleagues should be flexible to adjust their hybrid days based on business needs. You will have an opportunity to work with your team and leader to determine when you should be in office to drive meaningful connections and to best serve our customers.
