Construction Superintendent (Multi-Family Projects)
* Must have been lead Super on minimum of 5 projects
* Must demonstrate experience with reputable multifamily developers or general contractors (apartments only, not homes or townhomes).
We are seeking a dedicated Construction Superintendent with a minimum of 5 years of construction management experience, including at least 3 years specializing in multi-family residential projects. This role demands a strong leader capable of overseeing day-to-day site operations, maintaining safety standards, and ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
•Project Execution: Lead all phases of multi-family construction projects, ensuring alignment with design specifications, budgets, and schedules.
•Team Oversight: Supervise and coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel, promoting a culture of safety and collaboration.
•Schedule Management: Develop and maintain project schedules, addressing delays proactively to minimize impacts.
•Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to uphold high-quality standards and resolve any discrepancies.
•Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with all local building codes, safety regulations, and contract specifications.
•Client Relations: Serve as the primary on-site liaison for clients, architects, and project managers, providing consistent updates and addressing concerns.
•Budget Control: Monitor project costs, approve expenditures, and identify cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality.
Qualifications:
•Experience: At least 5 years of construction experience, with a minimum of 3 years focused on multi-family residential projects.
•Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred). Equivalent work experience will be considered.
•Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid) and scheduling tools.
•Certifications: OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, or relevant safety certifications (preferred).
•Key Skills: Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving abilities, with experience managing teams in high-pressure settings.
•Physical Requirements: Ability to work on-site daily and meet the physical demands of a construction environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $110,000.00 - $130,000.00 per year
