Position Summary
The Lead Project Manager is responsible for supporting the overall company strategy through the delivery of projects and programs that align technology to transform business capabilities. This role will be responsible for managing multiple highly complex and cross-functional technology projects that deliver value to the organization. The successful candidate will plan, establish, and manage information technology (IT) projects, programs and serve as a liaison between the business and technical aspects of assigned projects.
Key Responsibilities
•Drives complex and large-scale technology projects for IT functions including corporate security, service delivery, business application, and infrastructure project management.
•Oversees specific project schedules, tasks and resource requirements; estimates resource needs for large complex projects, sets standards for project resourcing estimates, and lead and coordinates a portfolio of related IT projects to ensure strategic alignment, risk management, and effective execution across teams.
•Organizes the communication of project progress and status to business / technology stakeholders.
•Guides project planning, including setting goals and objectives, defining roles and developing detailed timelines. Mentors and acts as a resource to other Project Managers in the implementation of waterfall and Agile work product related to assigned work.
•Identifies, develops, and implements effective, reasonable controls and procedures to proactively prevent issues and reduce risk. Shares best practices across organization and enforces program governance frameworks that align with organizational standards and ensure accountability, transparency, and decision-making rigor across all projects within the program.
•Leads stakeholder communications strategy and engages with stakeholders/sponsors.
•Leads the strategy of how to optimize project documentation creation, storage, and distribution; by proactively streamlining the process, ensuring all project documentation complies with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and audit standards.
Education and Experience
•Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, related field or equivalent experience.
•7+ years of relevant experience required.
•Project Management certification required.
•SAFe certification required.
•Experience with Waterfall and Agile methodologies required.
•Experience using project management tools, Azure DevOps and ServiceNow required.
•Advanced Project Management certification preferred.
•Experience as a Project Manager in the Oil and Gas sector and experience with IT Enterprise Systems and Infrastructure preferred.

•Project and Program Management - The ability to monitor the progress of a project’s timeline, scope, and (if applicable) budget. While also reporting the project status to stakeholders and identifying obstacles to completing the project in accordance with the plan, realigning and refreshing the approach and plan as required.
•Relationship Management - Relationship Management is the conscious aim to develop and manage long-term and/or trusting relationships with internal or external customers, distributors, suppliers, or other parties in an environment which can include marketing, selling, servicing and other areas where a relationship is crucial to on-going success. At a senior level, it includes C-level relationships with senior management.
•Schedule Management - The process of establishing policies and documentation for maintaining, developing, managing, and controlling the schedules for time and resources for the completion of the project.
