Overview

Full-time Mechanic Position Available in Elk City (Immediate Opening)

Applicants should have broad experience with Mack trucks, trailers, and various equipment. Familiarity with tech tools is required, along with possession of personal tools. Applications are accepted at the Elk City yard. The position includes a full benefits package.

Responsibilities

- Oversee daily operations of the maintenance team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

- Perform diagnostics and repairs on various mechanical systems, utilizing tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing.

- Lead troubleshooting efforts for complex mechanical issues, providing expertise to resolve problems swiftly.

- Train and mentor junior mechanics, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.

- Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance schedules, and inventory management.

- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies during all maintenance activities.

- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules that minimize downtime.

Experience

- Proven experience as a mechanic, with a strong understanding of mechanical systems and components.

- Familiarity with diagnostic tools, including an ohmmeter, is essential for this role.

- Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a mechanical or technical environment is preferred.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are crucial for success in this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
