Overview
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with experience in fine dining or catering environments. As a Line Cook, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality meals while maintaining food safety standards and ensuring an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and standards.
- Assist in menu planning and development to create innovative dishes that enhance the dining experience.
- Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including proper food handling and storage practices.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during peak hours.
- Monitor inventory levels of food supplies and assist with ordering as necessary.
- Participate in catering events as needed, providing excellent service to guests.
- Demonstrate strong knife skills and attention to detail in meal preparation.
- Previous experience in a culinary role, preferably within the food industry or restaurant setting.
- Dietary department or dietary aide experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with menu planning and fine dining service standards.
- Strong cooking skills with an emphasis on food preparation techniques.
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
