As the Lead Hand, you will play a crucial role in the coordination and execution of dyno motor tests. You will be responsible for organizing the daily schedule, ensuring each test is performed accurately, maintaining test equipment, and ensuring all test reports are sent out promptly after completion. This is a hands-on role requiring both leadership and technical ability.
- Coordinate and manage the daily dyno schedule
- Communicate with internal teams and clients to prioritize test orders
- Perform or oversee motor testing procedures
- Generate and send off accurate test reports once jobs are completed
- Maintain and perform basic repairs on dyno equipment
- Ensure all equipment is in proper working condition and meets safety standards
- Train and support team members in dyno operations as needed
- Monitor workflow and help identify process improvements
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Proven experience in a mechanical, testing, or oilfield service environment
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical data
- Basic computer skills (Excel, email, report generation)
- Mechanical aptitude with an eye for maintenance and troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
- Willingness to work in a shop/field environment
- Prior experience with motor testing or dyno operations is a plus
