About the role:

Reporting to the Senior Lead, Fish Habitat Offsetting, the Lead, Fish Habitat Offsetting supports with fish habitat offsetting, restoration and recovery planning and monitoring activities for EVR coal mining operations in the Elk Valley. Key responsibilities include fish habitat offsetting planning and design, execution of effectiveness monitoring and maintenance, and technical reporting to ensure regulatory compliance and project success.

To be successful, we are looking for someone who has excellent communication skills with experience engaging with internal leadership and external stakeholders. This position requires someone with a passion for building relationships and fostering effective collaboration with Indigenous Nations, regulatory agencies, and local communities. The ideal candidate will also have the ability to mentor individuals and work collaboratively while fostering continuous improvement and growth.
