Where You Will Work
Located approximately 50 miles northeast of Safford, Arizona on U.S. Highway 191, Morenci operations (an open-pit copper mining complex) has been in continuous operation since 1939. The operation consists of two concentrators, crushed-ore leach pad and stacking system, a low-grade run-of-mine (ROM) leaching system; four SX plants; and three EW tank houses that produce copper cathode.

Description
The Lead is responsible for overseeing daily operations, supporting managerial tasks, and ensuring exceptional customer service. This role involves supervising employees, managing inventory and expenses, coordinating schedules, and providing administrative support.
•Uphold high standards of quality control and health and safety. Manage expenses and supplies within budget to ensure profitability and minimize waste. Control inventory levels effectively. Ensure safety warnings are available and adequately posted. Ensure the correct chemicals are stored away properly along with their SDS sheets. Adhere to all safety protocols.
•Assist in overseeing daily business operations to ensure efficiency and profitability. Ensuring exceptional customer service. Support training initiatives to meet performance objectives. Provide leadership and foster team building to enhance staff learning and performance. Offer coaching and corrective feedback to staff as needed.
•Prioritize tasks effectively. Inspect and evaluate work in progress. Manage staff workloads and provide assistance as needed. Fill in to redistribute workload as needed.
•Recognize problems and resolve appropriately using good judgement, tact and initiative according to company policy and procedure. Utilize unbiased mediation and negotiation skills to resolve all types of conflicts at multiple levels.
•Assist with office duties such as tracking, ordering, scheduling, receiving, etc.
•Oversee reservations for the Club, Conference Room, Parks and American Legion, ensuring paperwork accuracy, cleanliness, and proper signage. Conduct monthly audits of all rental property.
•May act as supervisor to include managing the facility while the Spv Recreation Center is out.
•Provide administrative support to the manager.
•Perform other duties as requested
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
•Two (2) years of related experience
•Must be able to obtain position specific certifications within 1 month of employment; AED, First Aid, CPR.
Preferred Qualifications:
•Ability to communicate effectively verbal, nonverbal, and active listening.
•Ability to maintain positive community and working relationships
•Demonstrate an aptitude for computer skills including Microsoft Office, Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Rec Desk.
•Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions
•Prior experience with ordering or inventory management.
•Strong Customer Service Skills
•Strong Leadership, Interpersonal and Problem-Solving Skills
Criteria/Conditions:
•Must be able to frequently sit, walk and stand.
•Must be able to work in a potentially stressful environment.
•Personal protective equipment is required when performing work in a mine, outdoor, manufacturing or plant environment, including hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, safety footwear, and as needed, respirator, rubber steel-toe boots, protective clothing, gloves and any other protective equipment as required.

What We Offer You
The estimated pay range for this role is currently $17.50 - $23.50/hour. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors.
