The base salary for this position is dependent upon experience and location ranging from $103,000 - $129,000JOB SUMMARY
Scope of Work:
The Lead Test Engineer will address complex problems by leveraging best practices and industry knowledge to enhance processes and projects. This role involves leading teams and projects, identifying innovative solutions, and working independently with minimal guidance on complex tasks. Staying updated with industry advancements through training and associations is essential.Education & Experience Required:* BS/BA degree in an engineering discipline from an ABET (or equivalent) accredited college/university, 7 years’ experience performing engineering duties or an AS degree with 11 years’ experience performing engineering duties.Key Responsibilities:* Planning and Management: Assist in planning, managing, and directing the activities of the Testing and Commissioning Department related to the testing and protection & control of AVANGRID’s electrical equipment.
Skills and Requirements Technical Skills/Competencies* Theoretical Engineering Knowledge (Competent/Advanced): Expertise in planning, operations, and engineering design. Proficient in analytics, modeling, and calculations. Strong understanding of the business model and a global perspective on business operations. Values cross-functional collaboration and recognizes the importance of knowledge growth and relationship development across the organization.
